Dr. Manoharan is one of Australia’s leading laser dermatologists. He specialises in the use of energy based devices for both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Based in Brisbane, Australia, he is the Medical Director of Brisbane Skin and the founder of training organisation, DermEd.com.au
He was previously the Managing Director of Westside Dermatology and Sweat Free Clinics. He is also past Director of Training for the Australasian College of Dermatology (QLD). He has a special interest in combination treatments for complicated scars (acne, traumatic, surgical and burns), pigmentation, laser rejuvenation, and surgical & non-surgical skin cancer management.
Dr. Manoharan studied medicine at the University of Queensland, worked in the United Kingdom and Australia, gained extensive laser and surgical experience in Australia and the United States, and has sub-specialised in cosmetic and laser dermatology.
A Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, Dr Ryan De Cruz completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne, undertaking his residency at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and advanced training at St. George’s Hospital NHS, London.
With experience working in hospitals across Melbourne and the UK, Dr De Cruz has been appointed Consultant positions at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Skin Health Institute.
With a keen interest in the areas of eczema, acne and rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer management, laser treatment and hair loss disorders, Dr De Cruz is passionate about providing holistic dermatological care and in sharing his knowledge with fellow industry professionals.
After Dr Theva Thevakumar obtained his degree in medicine from the University of Dundee MBChB in 1992, he completed his postgraduate training and became a fellow member of the Royal College of General Practitioners MRCGP(UK) in 1996.
As a proud fellow member of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) since 2000 he has continued to pass on his wealth of knowledge and experience as a well renowned mentor and educator.
Once completing his Diploma at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine 2012 he became a cosmetic physician with an exceptional knowledge of the facial anatomy. He commenced practice in Anti-aging and opened his first clinic (Dr Theva Aesthetics) in April 2015.
With over 25 years medical experience Dr Theva is one of Melbourne’s few medically qualified Aesthetic Physicians. He is able to recommend a greater combination of treatments to his clients to achieve a natural, rejuvenated and refreshed look. He believes in an individualised, holistic approach and also focuses on the clients all round wellbeing. Crystal Patel is CEO and owner of Clinica Lase cosmetic skin & laser clinics, with locations in Carlton and Ballarat. A qualified nurse, and with almost two decades of experience, Crystal is a well-respected and renowned industry expert in clinical laser and treatments. Never satisfied with the status quo, Crystal is always keen to help push the industry forward utilising the latest technology, methods and equipment in her clinics. When not in the clinic, Crystal can often be spotted at other clinics and practices across Australia conducting training for Cutera Inc in the best practice use of their state of the art laser and aesthetic machines and equipment. Outside of work, Crystal will usually be found creating culinary delights in the kitchen, walking her two adorable human-size dogs or with her head buried in the books as she studies a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition.
Kelly George is a Registered Cosmetic Nurse and the Founder of Kelly George Aesthetics, a medical cosmetic clinic based in Tamworth, NSW. Kelly’s career in medical aesthetics began in 2006, when she worked for Allergan Australia. Since then, Kelly’s passion for helping her patients achieve great skin and natural results has been the driving force behind what is now one of the most successful anti-ageing clinics in Australia. In 2018, Kelly won The Plastic Surgery Hub’s “Australia’s Favourite Injector” award, and in 2019 was named among the Ultimate 100 Global Aesthetic Leaders, by My Face My Body.
